March 13, 1996 was the date, when Tevynes sajunga (Homeland Union) Conservative Party became a member of the European Democratic Union at of the Leadership Conference.
Tevynes sajunga (Homeland Union) Conservative Party received the greatest number of votes, 29.6%, during the first round of election, in the multi-mandate electoral districts.
The Tevynes sajunga (Homeland Union) Conservative Party won 493 of the mandates, the Lithuanian Christian Democratic Party won 180, and the oppositional Lithuanian Democratic Labour Party won 212.

NAUJOJI AKMENE, a newly developed town in northern Lithuania, 17 km northeast of Akmene, 33 km east of Mazeikiai.
The impetus of its development lay in the discovery of extensive underground limestone deposits.
In 1952 Katpenai was renamed Naujoji Akmene and in 1965 designated a town, having at that time 6,500 inhabitants (12,000 in 1973).

I am not sure but middle red band should be replaced with Lithuanian tricolor, i.e.

 Islands of Extremism: Localism of Radical "Voice" in Lithuania
The extremist parties have other — national — contenders (which in turn have more material resources) that also draw on the voter disappointment and disapproval of the traditional establishment but do it in a more populist and less radical way which attracts significant portions of the electorate while also acting as a safety-valve.
The success of the New Union (the Social-liberals) (Naujoji sąjunga (socialliberalai)) in the recent parliamentary poll in both Šiauliai and Kaunas that could be attributed to the factors of the anti-party system and personal leadership might attest to that.
This might be summarised by the Eatwell’s observation that voters for the extremist parties may be protest voters, but this does not mean they are irrational and thus often would not support a party they see no chance of achieving at least limited success.

In 1919 Putvis founded Lietuvos Sauliu Sajunga, was elected its first president and its first commander in chief, also he founded the principal journal of Sauliu Sajunga, Trimitas (The Trumpet).
From 1925-35 he managed the farms of his estates in Silo-Pavezupis and Bubiai; concerned himself with the social welfare and education of the local farmers and workers; and was active in the cultural affairs of the paramilitary organisation Sauliu Sajunga.

This is something that will have to change once she makes the psychological break and starts talking to real people, and not just her close friends.
With a new party: Naujoji Sajunga (New Union), Paulauskas was embarking on a campaign that (in 1998, at least), would be the closest run for president anyone had seen.
