Jesus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Judaism rejects claims of his divinity and of his being the Mashiach.
Judaism considers the idea of Jesus being God, or part of a Trinity, or a mediator to God, as heresy.(Emunoth ve-Deoth, II:5) Judaism also does not consider Jesus to be the Messiah primarily because he did not fulfill the Messianic prophecies of the Tanakh, nor embodied the personal qualifications of the Messiah.
Judaism states that Jesus did not fulfill the requirements set by the Torah to prove that he was a prophet.

 Judaism
Judaism is a historical religion, meaning that in addition to being founded upon ideas and texts, it is also founded upon certain events (e.g., the Exodus, the Babylonian Captivity, etc.).
Nazarene Judaism, on the other hand, is an attempt to recreate the first century community of Yahushua's followers and in doing so finds identification primarily in Judaism and Israel.
Torah is, for the Nazarene, the foundation of faith, theology and practice and is of value in and of itself.

Messianic Judaism started about 30 years ago and is an offshoot of the many denominations of Judaism filled with their various legalistic man-made doctrines of the Talmud with the exception of belief in the Messiah.
Nazarene Jews use and teach the true Sacred Names of the Father Yahweh and Yahshua the Messiah as it was originally written in the Hebrew Scriptures.
Nazarene Jews use and teach the true Sacred Calendar as it was originally commanded by Yahweh in Scripture with The month of Aviv being the First month of the year starting at the visual sighting of the first sliver of the new moon after the barley is Aviv (Ripe).

The Early Nazarene Christians and Rabbinic Judaism
The Nazarenes were well aware of the fact that Judaism of their time had been divided primarily into two beliefs-- the teachings of the House of Hillel, and the teachings of the House of Shammai.
Obviously this is prima facie evidence that the early Nazarene Church, which observed the Laws of Moses and found them not contrary to faith in the Messiah, maintained contact with Rabbinic Judaism, as it continued to develop after the destruction of the Temple.
Geographically, the Nazarenes were essentially limited to pockets of existence along the eastern shore of the Mediterranean Sea, and in the region of Galilee and Jerusalem at least till the city fell to Emperor Hadrian and his soldiers in 135 A.D. when the Bar Kochba rebellion was squelched.

 TNN Online: FAQ - N
While the groups invariably known as "Nazarene Israel" or "Nazarene Yisrael" or even "Nazarene Judaism" claim to have a Biblical basis for their beliefs, we believe that most of what they claim is poorly founded.
The groups known as "Nazarene Israel" often fail to recognize this, and build a mythos around the fact that the "Nazarene belief" is the one true faith.
Judaism has made the laws of niddah very complicated when you read the Mishnah and the Talmud, which adds many things to the basic Scriptural instructions, and then among those extra-Biblical regulations there are differing and contradicting opinions.

Jerome also tells us that the Nazarenes must have been on generally good terms with the Jews during early times, because in the same letter to Augustine he indicates that they were to be found "in all the synagogues of the East among the Jews" (ibid.).
Obviously this is prima facie evidence that the early Nazarene Church, which observed the Laws of Moses and found them not contrary to faith in Christ, maintained contact with Rabbinic Judaism, as it continued to develop after the destruction of the Temple.

Friends of the Nazarene - Nazarene Commentary - Matthew 6
This is a negative command of the Nazarene, and based on John 15:14 and John 14:15, a failure to obey this directive proves one does not love him, nor is a friend of the Lord.
However, the spirit of the Nazarene’s teachings ought to ring in the ears of the Saint living near the top of the social and economic pyramid: seek a life of simplicity with a generous eye toward the less fortunate.
When the Nazarene here uses the word “kingdom” he first means that opportunity to gain entrance into the kingdom or realm of the Son which is the Church, the Nazarene Community of Christian Saints with its heavenly call (Matthew 13:41; Colossians 1:12; Hebrews 3:1).

 History
It is best today to use the collective term Nazarene Jew or Nazarene Believers in an attempt to capture the whole of this earliest movement, and it would be useful to revive the term Yachad as a collective designation for the community of the Hasidim/Saints.
Nazarene is used as an historical designation to refer to those original, 1st century, largely Palestinian followers of Yeshua (Jesus), gathered around Yaaqov (James) in Jerusalem, who were zealous for the Torah, but saw themselves as part of the New Covenant Way inaugurated by their "True Teacher" Yeshua.

Traditional Judaism says that the King Messiah, who succeeds in his task of creating world peace, will be preceded by a warrior Messiah, who will be pierced, suffers and dies in the great battle with Gog and Magog.
However, this conclusion could not be possibly considered in Rabbinical Judaism due to the fact that the Nazarenes already maintained belief in such a 'foreign' concept.

While there are no concrete figures, it has been estimated by many that there are at least 100,000 Jewish believers in the Messiah Yeshua in the United States alone, with over 60 Messianic congregations and synagogues in Israel, and this number is growing all the time.
Now tens of thousands of Gentile Christians all around the world are also embracing Messianic Judaism as the form of worship as it was practiced by Believers in the Messiah in the first century, and as many believe it will be practiced in Messiah’s soon-coming earthly Kingdom.

We know a little about the Nazarenes from Jewish Rabbinic writings, but the more important description of them, although negative, can be found in the writings of the Early "Church Fathers." You see, just as now, the Nazarenes were misunderstood and hated by both the "Church" and Pharisaic Judaism.
The Church Fathers made it clear that the Nazarenes were "nothing but Jews." Most Jewish historians recognize that the Nazarene Jews were a valid Sect in Second Temple Judaism and for several centuries later.
And although the Talmud refers to the Nazarenes as "heretics," it would seem that this opinion was only formed in the later Talmudic writings, that is, after the inception of, the incursion of, the deception of, and the hatred from Christianity.

 Jews for Judaism FAQ
It cannot be that Matthew is referring to the Messiah as being a Nazarite, for nowhere in the Jewish Scriptures is it stated that the Messiah will ever take the Nazarite vow.
Furthermore, the spelling of the words Nazarite, nazir (from the Hebrew root N-Z-R), and Nazarene, notsri (from the Hebrew root N-TZ- R), are not the same in Hebrew.
The speculation as to whether the evangelist is comparing Nazarene and netser (or natsar) or Nazarene and Nazarite is inconsequential, for there is no basis in fact for either claim.

THE UNITY OF THE MESSIANIC JEWISH MOVEMENT
In addition to believing that Yeshua died for our sins, Messianic Judaism seeks to walk the way of Yeshua, whose way was to be a righteous Jew; obedient to G-d and separated from the ways of the world at large.
A top priority of this new Messianic Judaism was and is to never again be assimilated into the paganism of the Church, or to become apostate from the way and walk given by our Jewish Messiah Yeshua.
