Nedeljko Čabrinović (1895-1916) was a member of the (A secret terrorist society in the United States early in the 20th century) Black Hand society, and one of seven assassains who made a successful attempt on the life of (additional info and facts about Franz Ferdinand, Archduke of Austria) Franz Ferdinand, Archduke of Austria.
Note that many different versions of the assassination exist owing mainly to contradictary reports by witnesses of the time.
He died in 1916 of (Infection transmitted by inhalation or ingestion of tubercle bacilli and manifested in fever and small lesions (usually in the lungs but in various other parts of the body in acute stages)) tuberculosis which he had been struggling with for some time.
