		I agree with Jeanette and might add that maybe, for some reason, the enlarger may not be putting enough pressure onto the neg carrier.
		Actually I just use a glass on top as most neg are curved toward the lamp/away from the lens.
		I doubt that minor changes in focus will cause a change in flatness of the negative and I would expect that this would be truer for larger focus adjustment on larger format negatives.
