	Nehemia Gordon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Gordon is considered a Hakham, a well-respected religious leader of the Karaite Jewish communities, and now serves on the Universal Karaite Judaism Religious Council (which represents Israeli Karaites.) He is also the leader of the World Karaite Movement, a Karaite revival group.
		Gordon was awarded a Master's degree in Bible from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
		Gordon was recently a guest on Zola Levitt Ministries Television, a Messianic Jewish group, where he was interviewed about his religious beliefs.

		However, since Gordon continually contrasts what he calls "the Greek Jesus" from "the Hebrew Y'shua," this suggests that Gordon and Rood are probably hiding something- that in all likelihood their idea of who Jesus Christ (Y'shua Messiah) is, is radically different than Christianity and at odds with the New Testament.
		Gordon and Rood claim that Hebraisms (also called Aramaisms, since Aramaic was the common speech among Jews in Israel in the first century) are proof that the Gospels were originally authored in Hebrew.

		Gordon talks down or rather often preaches down to his audience, which is certainly not anyone in the scholastic field, who would be well aware that much of Gordon's assertions consistute hair splitting and hand waving, rather than actual erudition and fact.
		Still Gordon is very much preaching to the choir and I expect that choir will meet what he has to say with thoughtless applause.
		Gordon handles the issue of Jesus-Yeshua's identity as the Messiah respectfully, and does not offend those of us that accept Him as the Son of God and our Savior.
