Warnock plays to win and he’s had more than a week to pass on his knowledge to the squad, and the introduction of a new manager normally always sees an instant reaction from the players, some who couldn’t even tackle a Mars bar under the former boss.
Neil Warnock doesn’t like to make friends, but if he can guide Palace back to the Premiership he will be loved by everyone at Selhurst Park, and that would be a Muhammad Ali style knockout to all of his detractors.
