The area surrounding the famous archaeological site of Nemrud Dagi, with its heads of stone on the top of an extremely high mountain, probably constitutes the best site in Turkey to find two important specialities.
We found this quite useful, and especially scored along the 'new road' to the top of the Nemrud Dagi, starting from Narince.
