		The Neo Geo Pocket Color (or NGPC) was released in 1998 in Japan.
		It came after SNK's original Neo Geo Pocket monochrome handheld, which debuted in 1998 in Japan (and was released in the USA in 1999).
		However, it was hurt by several factors, such as the Neo Geo heads' legendary lack of communication with third-party developers, and anticipation of the Game Boy Advance.

		Nintendo's Game Boy regime stands tall with more units sold than any other hand held, or even home console on the market and currently there is little price diffrence between it and a Nintendo 64 or Playstation.
		The controls provide for the best hand-held fighting experence, allowing you to pull off moves you shouldn't try on the DC control pad for risk of injury or utter failure.
		Altogether, I'd rather have a Neo Geo in my pocket than a Game Boy simply for the games, and then for the superiority of the system.

		This was to change in 1999, with the release of a monochrome handheld - the Neo-Geo Pocket - swiftly followed by the Neo-Geo Pocket Color (incidently, the former was never released outside of Japan).
		Technically superior to the Game Boy and Game Boy Color, the NGPC can display more colours, more sprites, and even perform basic tasks such as providing a horoscope when no cartridge is inserted.
		You got the Dreamcast King of Fighters games, plus a couple of others, that were capable of linking up with the Neo-Geo Pocket in order to unlock additional features.
