Herrmann's theme throbs with tension and wonder, and is comprised mainly of harp, strings and a few brass players and is certainly the less memorable of the two TWILIGHT ZONE themes.
The Herrmann album is broken up into episodic scores (as are all four discs), the first being "Where Is Everybody?" which employs low string registers and vibraphone to create a sombre and hypnotic texture.
The four picture discs and 12 page booklet are attractive and considering the price, this set is relatively inexpensive.

What ever your case may be, you can rest assured that the actual transfer quality of this dvd is consistent with the series to date, which is to say it's quite good.
Episode quality wise, I think the dvd is carried by the dramatic strength of "Nervous Man In A Four Dollar Room" and "The Midnight Sun".
"Nervous Man…" also has probably the more unusual intro by Serling of the series (that I'm aware of) and one that works quite well in enhancing the whole voyeuristic feeling the show has.
