Note Air Force Lieutenant Van Rest was credited with 2 confirmed victories during the Japanese assault on the Netherlands East Indies.
However, regarding the circumstances and the fact that the Dutch East Indies Campaign 1941-1942 lasted only four months, I decided to give the title "ace" to each Dutch pilot with two or more confirmed kills.
