Willowtip | Releases > NEURAXIS - Trilateral Progression
Canada's Neuraxis has also returned with "Trilateral Progression", unleashing more of their technical death metal that strikes a damn fine blend between surprisingly brutal heaviness and snarling vocal growls with lots of forceful melodic tendencies and memorable songwriting tactics that keep the complexity up front without making it the focus.
Neuraxis' death metal furiosity combines the sheer relentlessness of raw, speedfreak grind with the technicality of the modern swell of increasingly popular death metal bands.
It's been a long time that Neuraxis are putting albums out and let's hope that this one will catched the attention of the metallers worldwide cause if this one don't catch the attention of the medias and fans, I really don't know what it's going to take cause this is another masterpiece of extreme metal.

Neuraxis are no exception, and tend more into the latter direction.
is Neuraxis' third album so far, and although I am not familiar with their 10 years before, I have to admit that I am highly impressed with the new record.
The twelve songs are mostly short death metal eruptions, but Neuraxis put so much substance into their music that you get the impression that most other and not so good bands would have needed double the playing time to get so much ideas in a song.

Neuraxis: Originally, we planned to tour Europe this summer, but things didn't go as planned, and we had to cancel...but there will definetely be a tour for both North America and Europe once our new album is released.
Neuraxis: Since our 1st album, we have released our music through our own label NEOBLAST RECORDS, in the beginning it was hard for us, since we didn't have many contacts and recognition, but at this point in time, Neoblast has grown and we now have 7-8 bands on our label.

While not establishing cause-and-effect, the FDA’s warning is highly suggestive that the risk of central neuraxis complications is increased when a regional anesthetic is followed or preceded by LMWH administration.
This implies that placement of central neuraxis blocks, or removal of indwelling catheters, should not occur within at least 12 hours before or after the last administration of LMWH, or conservatively, not within the last 24 hours.
If the patient has already received a central neuraxis regional anesthetic, we will institute LMWH only after 24 hours, documentation of full neurologic recovery from the prior anesthetic, and removal of any indwelling catheter at least two hours beforehand.

The planned interim analysis that resulted in closure of the protocol showed that patients randomized to the reduced neuraxis treatment had increased frequency of relapse.
Reduced-dose neuraxis irradiation (23.4 Gy) is associated with increased risk of early relapse, early isolated neuraxis relapse, and lower 5-year EFS and overall survival than standard irradiation (36 Gy).

They are characterized by their tendency to seed along the neuraxis, following cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pathways, and they represent one of the few brain tumors, including ependymoma, pinealoblastoma, and lymphoma, to metastasize to extraneural tissues.
Of medulloblastoma patients, 10-30% demonstrate CSF dissemination at diagnosis, mandating evaluation of the entire neuraxis with contrast-enhanced studies.
Extra-axial metastases account for 5% of cases; most metastases are to the bone, followed less frequently by the liver and lymph nodes.

Canada (specifically the Quebec area) seems to produce a neverending supply of frenzied, complex death metal bands (Kataklysm, Cryptopsy, Quo Vadis, to name but three), and Neuraxis is a worthy member of said fraternity, delivering a potent mixture of twisted riffs, blast beats, and harsh growls, yet not without a sense of melody.
