Before the announcement of the union of the right-of-centre parties, some were predicting that the New Democratic Party would form the official opposition because the NDP was polling ahead of both right-of-centre parties.

If we had an opposition party you'd think they could get some traction from all this US military hardware being used to destroy our longtime ally and put the lives of US civillians at risk.
In the universe of death threats, this particular one means that the party will go about levelling everything in the country around the supposed target, then huff off to an unrelated country and invade that, just in case said target doesn't quite understand that he is in no way immediately threatened.
