I really think you are missing out if you have not participated in the New Games and not used some of them to add variety to your curriculum.
For each game there are directions on how to play the game, how many people can play, when to do the game, safety considerations, accommodations for different age levels, the space and equipment needs, and developmental skills used.

The original book was required for the poetry class I took with him, and thought it was a slim paperback, held gobs of information about meter, rhyme, prosody and all the rest.
I've never seen the original Book of Forms, so I don't know whether this update is worth buying as a replacement, but I do know that the new version is an excellent tool for people like myself who are trying to make their poetry more technical.
