PublicEye.org - New Internationalist - Antisemitism and Conspiracism
Presuming that to be the only choice leads to quiescence or misconceptions about the structures of power, as well as to a notion that those who disagree are either paranoids (the pluralist view of conspiracy theorists) or the willfully blind and part of the conspiracy itself (the conspiracy theorists' view of their critics).
New Internationalist: If all social movements are created to oppose a power bloc that is relatively secret and elite, how can social movements develop strategies, frames, and narratives that point at the actual underlying causes of social, economic, and political oppression, rather than blaming everything on a handful of bad people plotting behind the scenes?
Fenster: An oppositional social movement that attempts to avoid conspiracy theory is seeking to counter both a prevailing, omnipresent narrative of limited vision (that it seeks to oppose) and a simple, easily discernible narrative of limited vision (that it seeks to avoid).

Roosevelt | Seattlest - The New New Internationalist   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-02)
Today, The Internationalist is a bustling and successful nonprofit venture preparing to make a huge circulation leap, from 25,000 copies to 150,000 with the new issue.
And so The Internationalist (not to be confused with The New Internationalist, a neo-socialist publication) was born, not out of any agenda or ideology other than to create discussion.
While the magazine can be bought at some newsstands (like Bulldog News), and is available online, in the main, it's distributed through a network of college professors to their students, people who share, in some way, the magazine's mission of expanding debate and discussion of international issues.

Media Advisory Regarding United Church Letter to the New Internationalist   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-02)
In writing the letter to express its concern, the United Church acknowledges the difficulty of critiquing the New Internationalist article without seeming to discredit the stories of pain and suffering that are told by students who attended residential schools.
In addition to its letter to the New Internationalist, the United Church is also issuing a media advisory because we are aware of the long-standing reputation of the New Internationalist as a credible source for many news organizations.
Because of this we are concerned that this New Internationalist news article may be used as a resource by other media outlets that would not be aware of the church's concerns.

New antisemitism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
New antisemitism is the concept of an international resurgence of attacks on Jewish symbols, as well as the acceptance of antisemitic beliefs and their expression in public discourse, coming from three political directions: the political left, far-right, and Islamism.
He argues that the new antisemitism, by contrast, "involves the discrimination against the right of the Jewish people to live as an equal member of the family of nations"; that is, discrimination against Jews as a people.
The New Republic argued that the discovery of "seven aging Eastern European fascists in the Republican apparatus" wasn't the threat it was made out to be; the greater threat lay in the anti-Semitism of the left, which had a salient agenda: "the delegitimization of the Jewish national movement".

 New Thinking
As potentially dangerous doctrines are put to the test with a largely consensual and uninformed pubic, it is imperative that educators and concerned citizens examine the role of the media, think tanks and the academy itself in shaping public attitudes towards America’s role in the world.
Corporations that own multiple news outlets often run "critiques" of the shows in their print publications, and cast members are often interviewed on the local TV "news," while important international events remain outside of most station programming.
The answer lies in creating a new internationalist vernacular to counter the simple, fl and white language that dominates public discussion today, seizing upon timely opportunities for collaboration and outreach, and taking advantage of the numerous opportunities provided by increasingly empowering technologies.

The terrorist attacks and the war in Afghanistan have created a new internationalist sentiment among the public.
However, this new internationalism, driven by a nearly universal imperative for defeating the terrorist threat, may have taken some of the steam out of what had been growing public support for solving non-geopolitical global problems.
The new poll shows that public opinion on the Middle East has changed little as a result of the attacks.

Ukraine New Internationalist - Find Articles
When Ukrainians celebrated New Year 2005 in Klev in a delirious sea of orange and anthems of the revolution, the future looked bright.
Thanks largely to its geopolitical position between Russia and Europe, Ukraine was receiving one of the highest amounts of US government aid in the world, as well as IMF loans, yet Ukraine's once-proud title of 'the bread basket of Europe' was soon replaced by 'Europe's basket case'.
Even before Yushchenko's election affirmed Ukraine's new Western democratic and free-market credentials, the economy was looking up enough to be one of the fastest growing in Europe in 2004.
