New Jersey State Highway 24 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
New Jersey State Highway 24 is a state highway in New Jersey, United States.
In 1974, that route was split into New Jersey State Highway 57 at Hackettstown, and the rest from the Musconetcong River eastward still known as 24.
It was finally completed through to the intersection with Interstate 287 in Hanover Township, New Jersey in the mid-1990s, and at that time the 24 designation was limited to strictly that freeway.

It's not not funny in the sense that New Jersey natives have no sense of humor about ourselves or our state; when the rest of the world thinks your home is all gigantic hair and hypodermics on the beach, you kind of have to find a way to laugh about it.
Yeah, yeah, you "meant the Jersey Turnpike." First of all, it's not "the Jersey Turnpike." It's just "the Turnpike." Second of all, not every goddamn residential dwelling in the state faces onto it.
The north is what everyone thinks of as the "real" Jersey with the refineries and the towns all crammed together and whatnot; the south is more farmland, and the Pine Barrens, and so on.
