The New Zealand Herald - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The New Zealand Herald is a daily broadsheet newspaper published in Auckland, New Zealand.
The New Zealand Herald was traditionally seen as a staid, centre-right newspaper, and given the nickname "Granny Herald" into the 1990s.
This has changed and today the Herald often draws content from left-leaning British newspapers such as The Independent and The Guardian, but it is not expressly sympathetic to any New Zealand political party and often shows editorial opposition to the centre-left government.
