If the new technologies are used in such a way as to exploit their potential, the teacher interacts with students much more than in a traditional classroom, as a facilitator, a mentor, a guide to the discovery and gradual mastery of knowledge, skills and attitudes.
In schools where all teachers in a school or classroom have a computer and have access to their students' records and appropriate management software, each teacher can quickly determine whether a student is having learning difficulties with that teacher or other teachers, and take suitable action.
