Perhaps the most easily recognizable skier in the world, Plake’s trademark Mohawk and inimitable hot dog style of skiing are now entering their third decade of prominence in a sport where even the best “freeriders” start to fade after a couple of seasons.
It’s really neat with all the new tricks, and there’s a great amount of excitement about it, but that’s only spectacle.
