		The Band is going to start doing Bingo as the major fundraiser beginning December 16th at the Bingo Hall on 21 mile and Gratiot.

		'Next' evolves their style to a new level, thanks in part to the addition of the sublime Sam Kininger to the group on sax.
		I have always been real critical of any band trying to recreate that new jazz/bebop/smooth sound but when i heard of soulive's cd "Next" it made me think twice of jazz to be exciting.
		Granted, Next was already conceived as somewhat of a departure for Soulive, considering the heightened role of alto saxophonist Sam Kininger, who appears as a side artist on Doin' Something but this time out is much more integrated into the band's overall sound.

		The next album out of the Jefferson Airplane troupe was Baron von Tollbooth & the Chrome Nun, credited to Kantner, Slick, and Freiberg, and released in the spring of 1973, an album that featured the other members of Jefferson Airplane in subsidiary roles, and on which Chaquico also appeared.
		Balin joined the band on-stage at its performance at the Winterland ballroom in San Francisco on November 24 (four years after his final Jefferson Airplane appearance) and then agreed to join Jefferson Starship as a permanent member.
		But, of course, those bands were selling in the millions, whatever the critics thought, and Chaquico even took the comparisons as a compliment.
