Nicholas Jonathan 'Nick' Barmby (born February 11, 1974 in Hull, England) is an English footballer currently playing for Hull City, who has amassed a total of 23 caps for his country.
Barmby's England career stretched to 13 starts and 10 substitute appearances accounting for four goals, including the first goals of Glenn Hoddle's and Sven-Göran Eriksson's reigns as England manager, in a 1996 3-0 World Cup qualifier victory against Moldova and a 2001 3-0 friendly victory over Spain at Villa Park, Birmingham.
Barmby played for his country at Euro 96 and Euro 2000, and also played in England's historic 5-1 away victory over rivals Germany on 1st September 2001.
