Saban was greeted by hugs, handshakes and pats on the back by some of the several hundred fans celebrating the dramatic conclusion to a five-week search to replace the fired Mike Shula.
Saban did in fact then say he needed another night to ponder the offer, in part because of the pressure Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga was applying.

Saban had his chance to be great, people threw rose petals when he walked down S. Stadium Dr. At LSU, he could have hand picked the players from arguably the most football rich part of the earth in Louisiana, but he gave that up and stepped down in class with Ala-freaking-bama.
Saban is a liar he did it to LSU when he went to Miami and now he is an even more farce with this move, he reminds me of Larry Brown in the NBA.
