The showing of a promotional film (which includes several references to the Terminator universe and a cameo by Shaquille O'Neal) is interrupted by a message by Sarah and John Connor with a different point of view.
Guests put on their "safety goggles" (actually polarized glasses needed for the 3-D film effects) and watch a demonstration of the Terminators, which is interrupted by the appearance of the T-1000 in pursuit of Sarah and John, who are on the premises in an attempt to disrupt the proceedings.
The unique 3-D film format of the mock-up utilized six, solid-state Electrosonic projectors that were electronically interlocked to run 70mm film synchronously, at the high speed of 40 frames per second.

Their mutating rapport is multifaceted, though more responsible for the film’s mature portrait of professional and personal desires is its acute acknowledgment that a life’s work – or, even, a single decision – is often the byproduct of myriad complex forces, and not merely reducible to easy, undemanding cause-effect analysis.
As implied by his film’s title – a term that refers to material removed from a document – De Palma is interested in confronting the way in which truth about the war is presented.
Chabrol’s assured direction often hints at cataclysmic events to come, though their eventual arrival is cause for merely disinterested shrugs, given that the film’s commentary has long since been neutered by oh-so-broad characterizations, the worst of which involves Magimel’s stereotypically cold, prissy, intolerant mother.
