Nicky Hayden was born on the 30th of July in 1981 in Kentucky, USA.
Nicky has two brothers Tommy and Roger Lee who are both racing in the USA, and two sisters, Kathleen and Jenny, who has raced most of her childhood as well.
Nicky's first goal in his young life was to win the AMA grand national dirt track championship, a very important title in the area he lived.

So, Nicky Hayden goes down in history as the winner of the 200th "premier class" race for Honda (combining results in 500 GP and MotoGP) by taking the Assen Dutch TT last weekend.
Hayden could still blow it, but you would have to say that the championship is his to lose at this point.
