Nicollet Park had a pennant winner its initial season as the Minneapolis Millers finished first in the Western League, and it continued as the home of the Millers when the team became a charter member of the American Association in 1902.
Lexington and Nicollet parks served the area well during the years it had minor league baseball and through a period when streetcars were a dominant form of transportation in the Twin Cities.
Nicollet Park was by this time owned by Northwestern National Bank (now Wells Fargo), which had purchased the property from the Carpenter family in November of 1951 for $145,000.

 Park Nicollet vaccination patients may need new shots
Park Nicollet Clinic is notifying more than 3,400 patients, including about 1,700 children, that they may need to be revaccinated because the shots they received weren't kept at the proper temperature.
Park Nicollet is spending an estimated $300,000 to correct the problem, including extending office hours, operating phone lines and providing replacement shots.
State epidemiologist Dr. Harry Hull, in a letter to Park Nicollet in May, said "other clinic chains in Minnesota are currently facing or have already dealt with similar situations." But the department declined to identify them, saying it's up to the clinics to decide whether to make it public.

Park Nicollet, an integrated care system in the Minneapolis metro area, will replace existing technology with 6,100 Dell OptiPlex desktops, 700 Dell Latitude notebooks and Dell Services, managing the lifecycle of these systems during the next three years.
Park Nicollet will purchase the bulk of their software and peripherals through Dell and their procurement will be consolidated via an electronic web page that Dell has established, reducing the time Park Nicollet spends on procurement by half.

The new facility, Nicollet Park, served the Millers for nearly 60 years.
