Nightgaunts, in the Cthulhu Mythos, are servants of the Lord of the Abyss Nodens, and are creatures of the dreamlands.
They are described as being fl, faceless beings with rubbery slick skins and a set of horns on the head.
Winged and impossibly thin, the Nightgaunts capture the unwary traveller and tickle them into submission while taking them to the lower realms of dreamland.

Whatever was used (possibilities include a very sharp knife or some kind of whip) it didn't pierce the skin (the "scars" are actually the marks of the Nightgaunt's tails on her).

He further learns that the Nightgaunts do not serve Nyarlathotep as is commonly supposed, but Nodens.

Then, when You're in CC, the Bioplasma kicks in, any kills inflicted by BP probably won't be striking back, after which You throw normal attacks at odds with enemy.
Nightgaunt costs 10pts (12 with ImpAtt), and You'll have to pay 10 extra for a Hive node.

Nothing can beat Gargoyles in the abilities/ptscost-department! You can convert them as cheaply (and more easily) as You could those Nightgaunts of Yours.
:D For the same amount of work You'd use converting those Winged Nightgaunts, You could be converting Gargoyles which are a much more points-effective Winged Gaunt choice.
only problem is that nightgaunts are cc and gargoyle's have a fleshborer

I'm using a sharp sky in scenes with night skies because of the hyperreality of such a thing.
I think watching waves upon waves of nightgaunts is an especially powerful image, so I made a note to myself to try and figure out how to do this.
"Separate: mountains, clouds of nightgaunts, Carter & co." means that if I want to make the most animation from this scene, I want to separate these elements from the background.

I've heard that they drop more often in the nightgaunt room, but so far, this hasn't been the case for me. Also, just to hear some stories, list your frustrations with the dark maze.
Here's one from me: I had killed every thing in the nightgaunt room, and as I was walking backk through to go to another room, he missed me with a mor dubh.
As of late, I've met some people in the dark maze that swear up and down that the creatures in there don't cast any spells.

 Cacophony Top 10 Bestselling Music: Cacophony
The thing I've found this record lacks for the most part, is songs, and the album doesn't work in the traditional sense of rock.
There are a few songs that stand out that can just be listened to as songs, such as Nightgaunts, and Horrors in the Museum, but Cacophony is not song-oriented enough for me to give it 5 stars.
I do recommend it, however, because it is great to listen to, if you have time on your hands.
