Nihilism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nihilists generally assert some or all of the following: there is no reasonable proof of the existence of a higher ruler or creator, a "true morality" is unknown, and secular ethics are impossible; therefore, life has no truth, and no action is known to be preferable to any other.
In the world of ethics, nihilist or nihilistic is often used as a derogatory term referring to a complete rejection of all systems of authority, morality, and social custom, or one who purportedly makes such a rejection.
A nihilist is a man who judges of the world as it is that it ought not to be, and of the world as it ought to be that it does not exist.

Nihilist or cynical capitalism that refuses a “human face” and understands its malice as a natural reality to which there is no alternative.
In this way, the nihilist position effectively establishes a policy of exclusion of large parts of the population and the destruction of nature.
In its conception of reality, the nihilist system doesn’t and cannot include the population as a whole or nature as a condition of life.

The choice of the nihilist is, then, not necessarily the choice between living or dying, but the choice between adopting a passive or an active stance towards the world.
The passive nihilist is one who, when faced with the world's uncertainty, withdraws and refuses to engage the world.

Magical theories tend to proliferate partly in response to the tyranny of materialism and partly because although materialism is self evidently incomplete, the holes cannot be patched with a transcendentalism that is tinged with increasing absurdity.
Thus in opposition to nihilistic materialism we find the remains of a monotheistic transcendentalism which we find the remains of a monotheistic transcendentalism which is on the way out and a purely magical view, manifesting, for example, in the growth of parapsychology, which is on the increase.

 Racial Nihilism
The racial nihilist seeks the egalitarianism of sameness and oneness, and wants all humanity to be the same, the rich diversity of human racial types to be reduced to one uniform type.
Some racial nihilists are extreme individualists, who only recognize the rights of individuals (and perhaps only the existence of individuals) in a very atomistic sense, not recognizing the rights (and perhaps the existence) of the biological group of which they are a part, whose existence transcends the sum of its parts and is potentially immortal.
The tendency of dominant ideologies to be intolerant of other ideas or beliefs is a persistent danger, requiring constant vigilance as the price for preserving the historically rare and fragile condition of intellectual freedom.

Niccolo was a nihilist in the sense that he didn't allow morality in planning or ethics in his treatise to obstruct his judgment, although he was certainly aware of the implications of his endeavor.
His modus operandi was nihilistic in that he desired destruction of the polity regardless of any constructive future, or at least it wasn't a concern for the present.
Undeniably he was very misunderstood artist and individual (a common trait of Nihilists) and part of the reason for that was his tendency to verbally obfuscate explanations and basically sham the interviewers that continually tried to figure out what Warhol was all about.

It is, rather, a thoroughly modern religion, whose burlesque gods command neither reverence, nor dread, nor love, nor belief; they are no more than the masks worn by that same spontaneity of will that is the one unrivalled demiurge who rules this age and alone bids its spirits come and go.
We have no need to speculate, as it happens; modernity speaks for itself: with the withdrawal of Christian culture, all the glories of the ancient world that it baptized and redeemed have perished with it in the general cataclysm.
Christianity is the midwife of nihilism, not because it is itself nihilistic, but because it is too powerful in its embrace of the world and all of the world's mystery and beauty; and so to reject Christianity now is, of necessity, to reject everything except the barren anonymity of spontaneous subjectivity.

Multiculturalism and the Demotion of Man
The perverse tendency among white Western elites to welcome and embrace non-Western peoples and cultures while refusing to defend their own people and culture is no mere fashion, as superficial conservatives would have it, but a natural and inevitable expression of a new culture-a culture of nihilism-that has become the dominant culture of the West.
The organizing idea of this nihilist culture is that abnormal and transgressive conduct is normalized and celebrated, while traditional moral norms and constraints are either ignored or subjected to crippling social and civil penalties.
The manifestations of this depravity can be seen not only in our popular entertainments (e.g., the Jerry Springer Show and most prime-time television) and "lifestyles" (e.g., face-piercing and vampirism), but in the so-called high culture of post-1960s America.

More significantly, a modern nihilism forces us in the end to reject the claim that the existentialist can necessarily create value in more than a personal sense through acts of will…some may experience that, others not…and these acts will not necessarily persuade others of the value of a particular course of action.

Logically (and mathematically) I tend to see the PoMo nihilist approach as worse than the "Judeo-Christian culture war," because (as I have argued), this would throw the baby out with the bathwater.
