		Whether data for a 450 Nikkor Q can be assumed to scale up from that for a 260 Nikkor Q is a question for which I have no answer.

		I have read alot of reviews on the Nikkor 70-300 ED, many are from here but I was wondering what other brands make a lens equal in quality with the 70-300mm range.
		The Nikkors forum might have been a better place for this question but, since we're talking about this lens on a D70...
		I might be showing my ingnorance here but in the case of the Sigma APO Super Macro, it has 14 elements in 10 groups with 2 special low dispersion glass when the Nikkor ED has 13 elements in 9 groups with 1 special low dispersion glass and there is a big price difference.
