Nima Yooshij - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nima Yoshij (1896 - 1960), his real name is Ali Esfandiyari, the eldest son of Ebrahim Nouri of Yosh (Mazandaran province of Iran), was born in November 1896.
Consequently, Nima began to replace the familar devices that he felt were impeding the free flow of ideas with innovative, even though less familiar devices that enhanced a free flow of concepts.
In general, Nima manipulated rhythm and rhyme and allowed the length of the line to be determined by the depth of the thought being expressed rather than by the conventional Arabic meters that had dictated the length of a bayt since the early days of Persian poetry.

Persian literature - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In 1318, after two poems by Nima Youshij with the names "Gharab" and "Ghaghnus" were published, Khalili also wrote a piece of poetry under the name "Sorude Kuhestan" or "The Song of the Mountain" in the same rhyming pattern as Nima, and sent it to the Kabul Literary Circle.
Nima Yushij is considered, quite rightly, the father of modern Persian poetry, introducing a whole bundle of techniques and forms to differentiate the modern from the old.
What Nima Youshij founded in contemporary poetry, which confirmed an entire era in the conviction that the traditional order of poetry could be challenged, his creative successor, Ahmad Shamlou, kept in our horizon by imparting a more innovative experience.

Until the age of twelve Nima Yushij had lived in Yush, a village in the northern province of Mazandaran, near the Caspian Sea, where his father was a farmer.
Nima's native language was Tabari, one of the many Persian dialects, which are spoken but not written in different provinces.
Lines became the phrases and sentences, and beyts (or stanzas) became the paragraphs of a poem, and the pattern of rhymes in each paragraph of a poem was especially decided and arranged for that paragraph by the poet.

The transformation of Farsi poetry brought about by Nima Youshij, untying it feet from the fetters of the prosodic measures, was a turning point in the long tradition of our poetry.
What Nima Youshij founded in contemporary poetry, which confirmed an entire era in the conviction that the traditional order of poetry could be challenged, his creative successor, Ahmad Shamlu, kept in our horizon by imparting a more innovative experience.
Nima thought that any change in the construction and the tools of a poet’s expression is conditional on his/her knowledge of the world and a revolutionised outlook.

Nima Yushij (1897-1960), the father of modernist poetry, died in relative obscurity, but after World War II a number of young poets took up his cause, fighting against the shackles of literary conventions and writing free verse, sometimes with a vengeance.
For infrastructure and impact, he uses a kind of everyday imagery in which personified oxymoronic elements are spiked with an unreal combination of the abstract and the concrete thus far unprecedented in Persian poetry.
To those familiar with the works of Nima, for instance, there is not a whole lot new, but those who adore the works of the masters find much that is distressful.

Persian Literature: A Political Review of Iranian Contemporary Poetry
In his second series of poems such as Qoqnoos or Ah People Nima so bitterly laments for the oppressed community and lashes out at the Reza Khani dark and suffocating atmosphere that his night is lengthened into an eternal night which is connected with all the nights in our history.
According to Khameie "The subject of the majority of Nima's poems is the suffering and poverty of the laboring people and their numerous calamities such as hunger, unemployment, deprivation of their natural rights.
Thus writers such as Nima kindled their lamp of hope during the traffic of the neighbors, and when Reza Shah left Tehran pronounced their jubilation in the following terms: "When the newspaper vendors were yelling the highlights of the extraordinary supplements about Reza Shah's resignation, for a few moments I hesitated in utter disbelief.

Reconsideration of works by the noted Iranian contemporary poet Nima Youshij and a study of the divergent views on blank verses are among the necessities of literature today.
Expressing this view at the second meeting titled ’Reciting Nima Poems’, literary critic Mir Ahmad Mir Ehsan said that poetry is a public phenomenon and the people should enjoy reading them.
Reciting Nima’s poems along other versions of the same style is an interpretative method for perceiving the aspects of Nima theory, he noted, adding that each blank verse demonstrates which aspect of Nima’s poetry has been developed in works of other poets and produced new results.
