 | | The South African Cities Network, first suggested at a meeting last year between city leaders and the Minister for Provincial and Local Government, Sydney Mufamadi, was launched at the City of Johannesburg Visitors' Centre on October 7. |
 | | The nine cities that have become founder members of the network are City of Johannesburg, Buffalo City (East London), City of Cape Town, City of Tshwane (Pretoria), Ekurhuleni Metropole (East Rand), eThekwini Municipality (Durban), Mangaung Municipality (Bloemfontein), Msunduzi Municipality (Pietermaritzburg) and the Nelson Mandela Metropole (Port Elizabeth). |
