		Vic Power, known in his native Puerto Rico as Victor Pellot, was kind enough to introduce me to several of these players when they were scouting an American Legion all-star game in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico.

		Clearly, beyond any question, the pattern through the 50s and 60s was that once teams integrated, they were eagerly searching fl stars, but not at all interested in fl role players.
