Eventually Nintendo would enter the home console market in the late 70's with the Color TV Game series which was manufactured by Mitsubishi and eventually Nintendo's first major success in the arcade industry was with Donkey Kong, created by Shigeru Miyamoto in 1981.
Nintendo has only once regained the market in around late 1994 with its Super Nintendo Entertainment System only to lose it to Sony a few years later.
In 2004, Nintendo announced that they were working on their fifth video game console, Wii which will be released in 2006.

Call Nintendo ASAP, if they don't belive you, bring them to this thread.
As other have said you should call Nintendo, however until they have discovered what is making them do this I would not use the pink controllers.
