The Nintendo DS is a very comfortable handheld, while I never had a chance to play with the E3 version, I am glad they changed the design.

Nintendo's initial shipment of 500,000 units sold out in North America in less than one week, thanks in part to the Thanksgiving weekend retail craze.
Nintendo reiterated its plan to have at least 2.8 million DS units shipped worldwide by the end of 2004, split evenly between North America and Japan, which means approximately 200,000-300,000 more units will be shipped to North American retailers within the next two weeks.
