 | | Originally conceived by the university to house student recreational facilities, the center was ultimately expanded in concept to include recreational and fitness facilities, student housing, dining facilities, classrooms, integral seating, and a new scoreboard for the adjacent Nippert Stadium and is in essence five buildings in one. |
 | | In addition to the integrated precast seating for the stadium, a new scoreboard structure was built that supports the scoreboard itself, several advertising spaces, and a walkway connecting the top level of the precast seating with the adjacent Shoemaker Center and Varsity Village Complex. |
 | | The exterior connector/bridge at the top level of the precast seating area for the football stadium also affords visitors access to the Recreation Center Marche, a two-story, full-service campus dining facility spanning from the football stadium to the MainStreet plaza on the north side and providing access to the recreational areas of the structure. |
