		The Nissan Cedric is a large luxurious automobile produced by Nissan since 1960.
		It was developed to provide upscale transportation, competing with the Prince Skyline and Gloria which were later merged into the Nissan family.
		In later years, the Nissan Skyline was positioned as a sports saloon/coupé, whereas the Nissan Gloria was turned into a sporty version of the Cedric (with identical styling but using different radiator grill and front and rear light clusters).

		The Gloria was given a minor facelift in October 1968 and again in April 1969 when there was a revised rear bumper design and different trunk lid.
		The Gloria featured a slightly different hood design from the Cedric and the coupes used large rectangular headlights in place of the sedans dual round units.
		The new Nissan Laurel for 1972 was a much bigger car than the old C30 model, although initially it still came with the four cylinder G series engine in both 1800cc and 2000cc.

		They should have stuck to rwd and a V-8 in the first place, but atleast they're trying to get it right with the Holden.

		12-30-02, 09:11 PM I suppose I can do one for all the Japanese car makers...I just stumbled onto Nissan's Japanese website and found their models extremely interesting, just like Honda's Japanese models are.
		It's cool how many turbo and AWD models Nissan sells over there...but manual trannies are few and far between for some reason :confused:
		The Primera is still FWD, which doesn't fit in with the rest of the lineup (I35 is getting killed off after a shortened 2003 model year).
