Nitro Records - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nitro Records is an independent record label created and owned by Dexter Holland (lead singer and founder of The Offspring) and Greg Kriesel (bassist for the same band).
As time went on, long established groups such as The Damned and TSOL have been brought into the fold, and The Offspring have even used the label to re-release their eponymous debut album.
Currently, Nitro is rebuilding itself with a new roster of bands who fit more closely into The Offspring's melodic punk style, rather than the current trends of radio-friendly pop punk and screamo.

Nitro Records began in 1994 when The Offspring's Dexter Holland released his friend's band, Guttermouth, DIY style, out of his apartment.
Nitro soon added AFI to its roster as well as Holland's early influences such as The Vandals, T.S.O.L., The Damned, and Exene Cervenka's (X) new band, Original Sinners.

Sorted magAZine, Albums, Guttermouth - Live from the Pharmacy (Nitro Records)
Still one of my favourite Orange County punk bands from Back in the Day, this disc is mostly a live Guttermouth show from the summer of 1994 with some studio tracks from '98.
It's produced and recorded by The Vandals' Wally - excuse me, I mean Warren Fitzgerald from the Vandals (old habits die hard).
Guttermouth was mostly known for good-natured misogyny, their sense of humour, getting very fucked up on stage and in the studio and on days of the week ending with a "y," and spending most of their time on stage trying to remember how to play their instruments.
