Niwa Nagashige (丹羽長重; May 11, 1571 - April 1, 1637) is a daimyo and retainer of Oda clan.
Nagashige is the eldest son of Niwa Nagahide and married an adopted daughter of Oda Nobunaga.
On 1583, Nagashige fought together with his father for battles against Shibata Katsuie.

On the battle of Nagakute, at the age of thirteen, Nagashige led troop of Niwa clan in the place of his father.
On 1600 at the battle of Sekigahara, Nagashige took part in Ishida Mitsunari 's force and fought against Maeda Toshinaga.

Niwa Nagahide (丹羽長秀; October 16, 1535 - May 15, 1585) was a retainer of Oda clan and a daimyo.
From youth, Nagahide served Oda Nobunaga and fought in such battles as battle of Nagashino being one of the most trusted retainer.
The extent of Nobunaga's trust can be seen by the fact that Nagahide married Nobunaga's adopted daughter and his son, Niwa Nagashige married the fourth daughter of Nobunaga.

Nagahide was the second son of Niwa Nagamasa and was born on 16 December 1535.
Nagashige was a son of Niwa Nagahide and was born on 11 May 1571.
Following Nagahide's death, Nagashige was transferred to a 40,000-koku fief in Kaga, thus considerably reducing the power of the Niwa, though Hideyoshi's ulterior motivations for doing so are unclear.

Daughters: Among Nobunaga's daughters were those married to Takigawa Kazumasa, Gamô Ujisato (Fumiko, d.1541), Niwa Nagashige, Maeda Toshinaga (Naga, 1574-1623), and Tsutsui Sadatsugu (Hideko).
In 1568 Nobutaka was married to a daughter of Kanbe Tomomori and later became the head of the Kanbe house of Ise Province.
Nobunaga had intended to send him against the four provinces of Shikoku along with Niwa nagahide, and in fact the two were assembling an invasion force in Settsu Province when Nobunaga was suddenly destroyed by Akechi Mitsuhide in June 1582.
