Nizam-ul-Mulk was the title of the ruler of Hyderabad state from 1724 to 1949.
The first Nizams ruled on behalf of the mughal emperors, but as their power waned with the death of Aurangazeb - the last great moghul, the nizams split away to form their own nizamates.
All of the Nizams are buried in the Royal graves at the Mecca Masjid, near Charminar.

It was in Nice that the princess married, on November 12 1931, Hymayat Ali Khan Azam Jah, Prince of Berar, son and heir of the Nizam.
When Walter Monckton arrived in Hyderabad in 1946 to try to disillusion the Nizam of the idea that Hyderabad could remain independent, he judged the princess "a woman tranquil yet resolute, whose personality dominated any room she entered".
The Nizam died in 1967 and was succeeded by his grandson.

Sorry to disappoint you but the Nizam did not have such a desire nor would the majority of his subjects have had such a desire.
His prime minister (who in the last days of the Nizam's rule effectively ran things), Kasim Razvi, encouraged the razakar movement prior to the police action and was certainly in favor of joining Pakistan but the Nizam himself was not at all interested in Jinnah or Pakistan.
He was more interested in preserving Hyderabad as an independent state and even had an envoy at the UN to try to achieve that result.
