Njars - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Njarar or Njars is a name for the people of Närke, Sweden, that appears in the Scandinavian version of the Lay of Weyland the smith.
The Njars probably lost their independence early to the Swedish king at Uppsala, and they are not mentioned by Jordanes in his thorough listing of tribes in Scandza, in the 6th century.
However, njar is an umlaut having resulted in diaresis of an older ner.

 Questing Spirit: PE: Volundarkvitha
Nithuth ("Bitter Hater"): here identified as a king of Sweden, is in the poem (stanzas 9, 15 and 32) called lord of the Njars, which may refer to the people of the Swedish district of Nerike.
The manuscript indicates no gap, but indicates line 3 as the beginning of a stanza; Vigfusson's added "Then Nithuth spake, lord of the Njars" seems plausible enough.
Different editors have rejected one or another of the last three lines, and as the manuscript indicates line 4 as the beginning of a new stanza, the loss of two or three lines has likewise been suggested.

 Wikipedia: Nericia
The province of Nericia makes up the southern part of Örebro County.
The name of the province is partly derived from an old name for the people of the province, the Njarar (Njars) or Nerikjar (today Närkingar).
The root nari, neri is cognate to English narrow and refers to the narrow inlets that caracterized the geography in the south and the north-east.

Re: [JBoss-dev] WebIntegration TestSuite, JSPs and ClassLoaders....
This is no problem provided that all the URLs are of protocol file: NJars are problematic, since the resource referenced is not directly available to me.
At the moment a JSP requiring a class referenced in an njar will not compile, because there is no way to get that file onto it's classpath.
Someone is going to have to copy these files out, either the njar guys, or me :-(Perhaps we can arrange to make some of the caching API public so that I can explicitly cache and dereference the nested jars that I need ?

You supply an njar url, and it gives you back the file for the local unpacked copy.

Do you want njar to unpack down to the level of jsp files?
