  RAF History - Bomber Command 60th Anniversary
No 106 Squadron, from Metheringham, lost 5 of its 16 Lancasters on the raid and No 630 Squadron, from East Kirkby, lost its commanding officer, Wing Commander WI Deas, who was flying his 69th operation.
Wing Commander Deas was killed and is buried in a small cemetery at Omerville, north-west of Versailles.
No 617 Squadron caved in both ends of the tunnel with their Tallboy bombs and the other part of the bombing force cratered all the approach areas.

 Rotor Blade Straps - Rotary Wing Forum
I know dragon wings have only 2 bolts securing straps to hub bar which is much lighter material, but the blades are also quite a bit lighter too.
I suppose no two bolts are in line crosswise so the reduction of area is 0.5 x 0.25 = 0.125 sq.
I believe that means "crosswise" the 3rd bolt is back towards the teeter block and is in the middle of the two or in the middle of the bar.

Consensus was that the wing warp was great for amusing the crowd in the pits, largely useless for anything useful.
Both copied the full size arrangement, Dave's to the extent he got his drawings from the RAF Museum at Hendon and just built a Sopwith Tabloid but a little smaller...
As a warper is non-cantilever, all the flying and landing wires hang around the front spar holding the wings up and down on the pivot axis, so they don't change length on either side.

The Wing moved to Akyab Main on 13 May 1945 and by the next month had been transferred to No 232 Group.
15 July saw the arrival of No 298 Squadron (Halifaxes) from the UK and in mid August the Wing was transferred to AHQ Burma and moved to Mingaladon.
Further movements included No 10 and 232 Squadrons arriving in September but No 10 Squadron left on 4 October and No 98 on 9 December.
