Nolberto Solano made a surprise return to Newcastle United from Aston Villa just minutes before the Summer transfer window slammed shut at midnight on August 31st.
Solano originally joined United from Boca Juniors in a £2.7million deal in 1998 and went on to score 29 goals in 172 Premiership appearances for the club.
However, at the start of the 2007/08 season, Solano was on the move again, joining West Ham United to be closer to his London-based family.

Nolberto Albino Solano Todco (born December 12, 1974 in Callao) is a Peruvian football player who currently plays for Newcastle United in the English Premiership.
However, Solano was re-signed by Newcastle in 2005 from Aston Villa, just moments before the closure of the summer transfer window on August 31st for £1.5 million with James Milner also going on loan to Villa until the end of the season.
Solano's re-signing was met with delight by Newcastle fans, who had chanted "Nobby's" name during the unveiling of record signing Michael Owen earlier on the 31st.
