The goal of this project is to study (i) cases of nominal and temporal anaphora in which it appears that humans only arrive at a partial interpretation, and (ii) the role of discourse markers and temporal conjunctions in the interpretation and partial disambiguation process.
The second goal is to identify other factors for contextual underspecification in particular by studying the semantics and pragmatics as well as the disambiguation potential of discourse markers and temporal conjunctions.
The first goal of this project is, therefore, to study more closely the cases of nominal (singular as well as plural) and temporal anaphora in which it appears that humans only arrive at a partial interpretation.

Transylvania - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
At the very end of the 9th Century seven Magyar (Hungarian) tribes, under the leadership of Árpád, are believed to have conquered the Carpathian Basin, including (by 934 A.D) Transylvania (although some recent research suggests that the Bulgars retained nominal control of parts of the Carpathian Basin until around 1000 A.D).
Transylvania accounts for around 35% of Romania's GDP, and has a GDP per capita (PPP) of around $7,400, around 7% higher than the Romanian average.
Hungary was now divided into three sections: West Hungary, under Austrian rule; central Hungary, under Turkish rule; and semi-independent Transylvania, where Austrian and Turkish influences vied for supremacy for nearly two centuries.

Republic - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The third section is about how republics are approached as state organisations in political science: in political theory and political science, the term "republic" is generally applied to a state where the government's political power depends solely on the consent, however nominal, of the people governed.
Republics are often associated with democracy, which seems natural if one acknowledges the meaning of the expression from which the word "republic" derives (see: res publica).
For this reason, in political science the several definitions of "republic", which in such a context invariably indicate an "ideal" form of government, do not always exclude monarchy: the evolution of such definitions of "republic" in a context of political philosophy is treated in republicanism.
