		Cel is set to eight compositions by Yannis Xenakis, mostly small works for violin and cello, as well as the cello solo Nomos Alpha, two early electronic works (here on tape) and, as a magnificent finale, the longer Eonta.
		The solo, Nomos Alpha, takes too long, although it is beautiful how Simons sets a physical male solo to the darker tones and conjures up a vision of a nymph to the lighter ones.

		A federal court jury in Boston, Massachusetts returned a unanimous verdict that no Zmed SonArray alpha customer used a product infringing Nomos’ patent, that Nomos was not entitled to any damages, and that Zmed acted in good faith in this matter.

		After presenting some implementations of group-theoretical methods dealing with the rotations and the reflections of regular polyhedra in the space, we will discuss the computer-aided model of two pieces based on such a groups: Akrata (1964-65) for 8 winds and 8 brass and Nomos Alpha (1966) for solo cello.
		These two implementations clearly shows the music-theoretical properties of the Fibonacci process according to which the different sound objectsare organized and the underlying formal model based on the group of rotations of the tetrahedron and the cube in the space.

		We present computer models of two works for solo instrument by Iannis Xenakis: Herma for piano (1962) and Nomos Alpha for cello (1965).
		Both works were described by the composer (in his book Formalized Music) as examples of "symbolic music." Xenakis' detailed description of formal aspects in his compositional process makes it possible to implement computer models that recreate essential elements of the final scores.
		Further, we examine how the algebraic organization of Nomos Alpha can be considered as an abstraction of the set-theoretical one used in Herma.
