Flight - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Flight is the process of flying: either movement through the air by aerodynamically generating lift or aerostatically using buoyancy, or movement beyond earth's atmosphere by spacecraft.
Superman is a superhero in comic books, cartoons, and films; flight is among the various superpowers he is portrayed to obtain from the yellow rays of earth's sun.
The largest birds, the ostrich and the emu, are earthbound, as were the now-extinct dodos, while the non-flying penguins have adapted their wings for use under water.

Flight simulator - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Flight simulators are extensively used by the aviation industry and the military for pilot training, disaster simulation and aircraft development.
Flight simulators are also extensively used for research in various aerospace subjects, particularly in flight dynamics and man-machine interaction.
Because powered flight is hazardous to attempt untrained, from the earliest days various schemes were used to enable new pilots to get the feel of the controls without actually being airborne.

 Flight
Flight speed is dependent upon the bird, the weather, the wind, etc. In general, the flight speed of small passerines varies from 15 to 50 mph.
Flight evolved from gliding behavior and gliding and the use of feathers for insulation probably evolved together.
One theory is that in coordinated flight flocks such as those of waterfowl, there's an aerodynamic advantage to flying behind and to the side of another bird to take advantage of its wingtip vortices.

Capital Flight Encyclopedia Article @ USGrant.com
Capital flight, in economics, occurs when assets and/or money rapidly flow out of a country, due to an economic event that disturbs investors and causes them to lower their valuation of the assets in that country, or otherwise to lose confidence in its economic strength.
The Argentine economic crisis of 2001 was in part the result of massive capital flight, induced by fears that Argentina would default on its external debt (the situation was made worse by the fact that Argentina has an artificially low fixed exchange rate and was dependent on large levels of reserve currency).

 Vertebrate Flight: Introduction
Flight is an amazing accomplishment, evolved only three times in the 500 million years of vertebrate history.
By contrast, the invertebrates have only evolved flight once: in the insects, which were the first animals to evolve flight.
Flight: You can immediately tell if an animals flies by looking at it when it is moving — if it flaps its wings, then it is flying (assisted aerial motion, or true (powered) flight).

 First Flight
When their test flights did not produce as much lift as they had expected, they went back to first principles and carried out a series of scientific experiments, starting with the bicycle balance and moving on to their famous wind tunnel experiments.
They were the first to understand how the lift from the aerofoil changes in flight, and the first to design their propellers as a form of aerofoil.
Their canard design was safer in a stall but a web-based version of Frederick Hooven's flight simulation demonstrates how difficult it must have been to control.

The event (the flight of an airplane) which took place on December 17, 1903, did not just happen as a random event, it began in the “day dreams” of primitive man and has not stopped.
Since Flight did not begin and end with the Wright brothers it would be wise to research flight and to try and put the events of Kitty Hawk into proper perspective.
They were superb flyers (of gliders) and were able to stabilize the flight of their craft by a process which had come to be known as wing warping.
