		Nordic theory (or Nordicism) was a theory of racial supremacy prevalent in the late 19th and early 20th century, which claimed that North European peoples constitute a “master race” because of their innate racial capacity for leadership.
		Nordic theory was influential in Western Europe and North America during the early 20th century and was a major influence on Nazi ideology.
		The Nordic race was thought to be prevalent in northern Europe, especially, but not exclusively, among speakers of the Germanic languages, and was characterized by tall stature, wide shoulders, long head- and facial form, straight and fine blond, red, or light brown hair, and blue, grey or green eyes.

		The Borreby race can be found on the northern German plain, on the Danish isles, on the west coast of Sweden, and in its greatest concentration in Jæren, a coastal district of western Norway.

		The Vasaloppet is a 90km-long cross-country ski race held every year on the first Sunday of March between the village of Sälen and the town of Mora, in the Dalarna province in central Sweden.
		More than 15,000 skiers compete in the main 90km race alone, and overall there are some 40,000 skiers participating in any of the seven different races held during the whole Vasaloppet Week.
		The very first Vasaloppet race was attended by 119 skiers, which took almost eight hours to complete the 90km distance between the start and the finish.
