Dagmar Nordstrom (December 12, 1903 – April 9, 1976) composer, pianist, singer who was known with her sister Siggie as The Nordstrom Sisters.
Born in Chicago, Illinois the second daughter of Anna and Alexander Nordstrom.
She was married briefly to a society playboy but lived most of her life with her older sister Siggie after the death of Siggie's husband Samuel Ferebee Williams in 1931.

Nordstrom shares closed down 59 cents, or 1.2 percent, at $47.49 on the New York Stock Exchange before the results were released Monday, then dipped slightly in after-hours trading before bouncing back to the closing level.

Nordstrom says that its merchandise at the Rack, which sells items direct from name-brand manufacturers, clearance goods from Nordstrom department stores, and Nordstrom’s own Atlantique brand, is priced at 30 to 75 percent below retail.

 Some Memories of Uncle Ken Nordstrom
A particularly important part of this was reflecting upon my grandfather's Axel Nordstrom's relationship with his youngest child and son, Ken. I think it was really a unique relationship.
I look back on Grandfather Nordstrom, a blue-collar hands-on kind of guy, born in Sweden, immigrating to the United States with his family, working hard to succeed, milling flour and guiding his son to actually major in something in a university as obscure as milling.
I can still remember being taken on a tour of the Norton flour mill at a young age, maybe 7 or 8, by grandfather Nordstrom, being allowed to ride the belt up, and having the guy at the top catch me with his big hands before I was devoured by the flailing belts.
