The Norfolk Island Kaka (Nestor productus) was a large (Usually brightly colored zygodactyl tropical birds with short hooked beaks and the ability to mimic sounds) parrot with a prominent beak.
It inhabited the rocks and treetops of (An island territory of Australia in the Pacific Ocean off the eastern coast of Australia; formerly a British penal colony) Norfolk Island and the adjacent Phillip Island.
It was a relative of the (additional info and facts about Kaka) Kaka from (An independent country within the British Commonwealth; achieved independence from the United Kingdom in 1907; known for sheep and spectacular scenery) New Zealand.

The Kaka (Nestor meridionalis) is a parrot native to the forests of New Zealand.
The word "kaka" is also the general Polynesian word for a parrot.
The Kaka is a medium sized parrot, around 45 cm in length and weighing about 550 g, and is closely related to the Kea, but has darker plumage and is more arboreal.
