Gaynor is a graduate of the London School of Economics and until the recent move to Brussels worked primarily in the UK NGO sector, in community development, grantmaking, and management roles.
Prior to returning to school in 1993, she was Director of Public Relations for St. Louis University and Vice President for Public Affairs for a division of Citibank.
Maureen Appel Molot is a professor in, and former director of, The Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA), at Carleton University.

Begun in 1996, the International Crisis Group’s (ICG) Central Africa Project analyzes political and ethnic conflict within and between the nations that straddle mid-Africa, including the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burundi, Angola, Uganda, and Rwanda.
The site of the International Crisis Group, "a private, multinational organisation committed to strengthening the capacity of the international community to anticipate, understand and act to prevent and contain conflict." There is a wealth of information on the site about regional conflict as well as individual countries.
This is certainly a Website to spend some time on and could serve as a fine basis for junior and high school curriculum on the continent.
