NART raced at only the world's premiere races, such as the 24 Hours of Daytona in Florida and the 24 Hours of Le Mans in Le Mans, France.
With this model, NART scored 2nd in the 1973 Daytona 24h, behind a Porsche 911.
NART also had a Ferrari model with its name attached to it - the 1967 275 GTB/4 NART Spyder was a convertible version of the 275 GTB/4 requested especially by Luigi Chinetti.

The Harvard sailing team may have maintained the No. 1 ranking in the nation through the past two years, but the two most prestigious crowns of college sailing—the North American Team Racing Championship and the North American Dinghy Championship—had eluded Harvard sailing for decades entering this weekend.
The Crimson lost to Georgetown due to a controversial race in which it felt a legitimate protest was denied.
The North American championship was the second that Harvard had won this season.

 2003 Stutz Racing Team North American Tour
The "Stutz Race Team" entered two cars at Road America for the VSCDA Fall Festival on September 18th to 21st @ Elkhart Lake Wisconsin, in conjunction with this years "Grand Stutz." The course is a 4-mile, high speed, and hard braking track with plenty of elevation changes.
Friday, the first practice day, was cloudy and very windy and both George Holman driving Norman Barrs’ 1929, #77 Blackhawk, and Bill Holman driving the Holman’s 1928, #88 Stutz Black Hawk, found the back downhill straight at over 100 MPH to be a challenge in the gusting cross wind.
Fortunately the driver was not hurt but the session was stopped and that was the end of the race.

Co-driving a Ferrari 250TR of the North American Racing Team (NART), he was running 4th in the 1958 24-Hours of Le Mans when his co-driver crashed, putting them out of the race.
From 1963 to 1967, Dan was a member of Carroll Shelby's Shelby American team, and he drove Cobra roasters, the Cobra Daytona coupe, and various Ford GT-40s to key victories.
In 1965 he drove his modified Lotus 19B-Ford at the Daytona and Sebring races in the role of "rabbit" to set a pace intended to break the Ferraris that were competing against the Cobras and Ford GT-40s.

The first-ever race event of the new North American MINI Cooper Championship was held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 21.
The race was won by MINI aftermarket business-owner, Randy Webb of Webb Motorsports from Littleton, CO, followed by a MINI Madness sponsored MINI Cooper “S” driven by Caelin Gabriel of Portland, OR.
The North American MINI Cooper Championship was developed with similar competition rules and organization as the “MINI Challenge Series” in the U.K. Cars from the UK series are eligible to compete in the U.S. series.

John Surtees (born February 11 1934) is a British racing driver, and the only one to have become World Champion on both two and four wheels.
Born in Tatsfield, Surrey, Surtees won seven world titles in motorcycle racing, winning the 350cc championship from 1958 to 1960, and the 500cc championship in 1956 and 1958 through 1960.
He later formed his own race team, Surtees Racing Organization, which raced in Formula One during the 1970s.
