The North American Vexillological Association has invited the submission of articles about Dr. Rex Curry's work, to be considered for publication in either its quarterly newsletter, NAVA News, or to its annual journal, Raven.
NAVA is non-partisan organization that publishes original research that advances knowledge of vexillology and related subjects.
The North American Vexillological Association (NAVA), Flags of the World (FOTW), and the Flaggenkunde group are being asked to assist Dr. Curry in locating an actual picture of the flag (none was found with the newspaper article).

Here are the top 10 and bottom 10 flags, according to the North American Vexillological Association, a group of flag-makers, flag collectors and flag scholars that used its Web site to rate 72 state, territorial and provincial flags from Canada and the United States.
The survey, conducted for the first time in the association's 40-year history, allowed about 100 of its members to rate the 72 flags on their "design qualities" - regardless of political, historical or geographic importance.
