Founded in 1895, the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) is a non-governmental, voluntary organization that accredits 8,500 public and private schools in 19 states, the Navajo Nation, and the Department of Defense Dependents' Schools worldwide.
The Regional Office, NCA's Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (CASI) is located in Tempe, Arizona.
NCA CASI accredits a range of schools from pre-kindergarten through post-secondary, including: early childhood, elementary, middle, secondary, adult/vocational, college preparatory, special purpose, unit (K-12), and non-degree granting post-secondary schools.

We headed north from Phoenix in an attempt to escape the sun and came to Red Rock State Park near Sedona, Arizona.
Sedona is also supposed to be the most psychic spot in the world, with seven vortexes of psychic energy “gushing out of the earth like geysers.” Let it be known that we did not see any energy vortexes gushing forth during our time in Sedona.
While in Arizona, we traveled through Oak Creek Canyon, a lovely 25 mile drive on narrow, winding roads, with sheer red rock cliffs rising on the west side of the road and Oak Creek meandering off on the east side, shrouded by trees.
